Loveland’s Art in the Park and the last freelance for a while

Well this will probably be my last post for Sunday freelance work for the Reporter-Herald for quite a while.

Starting today was the first day back to Collegian work 5+ days a week. Meaning I will no longer have Sunday free to shoot freelance work.

Kind of a bittersweet thing as I’m excited to start the real work of being the editor of a daily newspaper but probably the end of being able to pay attention to my first love: photography.

But enough of my being sappy and on to some work.

I shot Art in the Park or Sculpture in the Park if you prefer the more formal name. Along with that was the Loveland Invitational Sculpture show and sale. Was a fun shoot and I was asked to provide a slideshow and I also volunteered to help on a video.

The video was kind of a learning experience as neither of us have much background. Hopefully the next one will be a bit better. I really only provided one piece of b-roll and the editing and the rest was done by Madeline Novey.

So here they are(shot for the Loveland Reporter-Herald):

And last of all, the video:

Thanks and please drop me a line on what you think.

Your photos are always amazing, but I love it when you write. You have a talent in the first sentence to draw the reader in, as if you were talking just to them. The blog is great, informative and well documented. It shows how much passion you have for what you do through your work!
